Upgraded topical message: Why Divine Revelation (Scripture) condemns homosexuality. Why homosexual activists become so upset when their lifestyle is called into question

Gay activists aren't satisfied with only being
sexually intimate with the particular members
of their own gender. They set themselves upon
an agenda path to molest traditional marriage,
thereby diluting it to include something that
never was intended by God.
The Christian Message website has upgraded the following topical message with additional pics, captions, internal links and some minor editing:

Why Divine Revelation (Scripture) condemns homosexuality. Why homosexual activists become so upset when their lifestyle is called into question

Excerpt:

<<<<<<< This Christian and emeritus Christian pastor is no stranger to online forums and to providing his comments, following news reports. A couple of weeks ago there was an mlive.com news report about an (obvious) homosexual activist. The news piece went on to highlight this man’s near future conference speaking engagement.

The young man of whom the news piece related, was scheduled to speak about the recent Kalamazoo anti-discrimination ordinance last year and “his spiritual journey.” He was highlighted to be the keynote speaker for “Out of the Closet, Into the Light.” The gathering, according mlive.com, was designed to be a “conference on ‘sexuality, inclusion and spirituality.’” The event was planned by “the OutCenter, of Benton Harbor, which provides support and advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied persons in Berrien County.” >>>>>>> - thechristianmessage.org

Christ dying for the sins of the world is different than a faith that justifies one before God

Note:
When Christ comes to claim His own
and to judge the living and the dead,
The Bible doesn't say: " .... will He
find acknowledgement of His
atonement redemption?"  No. It

 (rather) says:"...shall he find faith
on the earth?" Luke 18:8

Gospel of John Question:

Did Christ wipe the sinful slate clean for every person; or, did He bear the sins of the world upon the Cross?

Scripture: John 1:29-34

<<<<<< The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!  This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.”

And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” >>>>>> [NKJV]

Answer:

The Bible says that the Christian "walks by faith" and not "by sight." [2 Corinthians 5:7] The Christian's vital breath is faith; it is not looking back (continually reminiscing) over some fixed point in history in which Christ died and bore the sins of the whole world. John 1:29 ; Isaiah 53:1f

The Bible says that the Christian is to look to Jesus the "author and finisher" ("pioneer and perfecter" - RSV) of one's faith. Hebrews 12:2 ; Hebrews 5:9. Disciples of Christ are to fixate (focus - consider attentively) upon Christ, the captain of their faith. Philippians 3:7;8;9

The Scripture never says that by grace through
the mental assent (acknowledgment) of Christ
dying for the world's sins, that a person is made
right with God. No!  It rather says: "For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is a gift of  God; not of works,
lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8;9

Yesterday I was on the road for a considerable distance. The only thing that seemed to come in clearly on my auto's radio, was a popular Christian radio station. I was amazed how many songs dealt with the re-occurring theme that Christians were God's redeemed and that they were His children. Now, that is not an untruth; except that these songs never once mentioned "faith." When I was thinking of this, I asked myself:  "What a poor witness to those unbelievers who are listening to this music and its lyrics! It gives the incorrect message that all one has to do, is appreciate God's love for giving His all." That is (somewhat) like our present White House occupier (unconstitutional "president") saying:  "I believe in the 2nd Amendment (the personal right to bear firearms)." The Bible also says that devils give assent (acknowledgement) to God's person - but, don't genuinely believe in Him. James 2:19

Believing in a fixed point in history isn't the same as actually believing in Christ. Believing that Christ died for the sins of the whole world does not justify one's own soul. Believing in an event that made provision for every soul's sins to be forgiven; does not translate into
a person actually possessing the personal forgiveness of his sins. The Scripture no where states that believing (deciding for oneself) that Christ's atonement for human sin, forgives a person's sins.

The crucifiction event of God dying for the sins of the whole world and an individual believing in that event, does not take the place of the Holy Spirit's working of cleansing and sanctifying that individual's soul. Following (contained in the topical message link below) are Luther's words in explanation to the Holy Spirit's work.

Please note:

Part 2: How does the false teaching of universal objective justification molest Christians’ faith? - thechristianmessage.org/2012/09/

The divine revelation states that faith in the
individual soul is a gift of God. It cannot be
drummed up on one's own. The Bible also states
that this individual faith comes through the
instrument (by way of) of God's divine revelation:
Romans 1:16 ; Romans 10:17 ; 2 Timothy 3:14-17 ;
Acts 8:26-29 ; 1 Peter 1:23 ; James 1:18
In short, believing in the visible historical presence of a cookie jar on Grandma's kitchen counter, does not automatically translate into cookies occupying that cookie jar. The Bible says that "....but without faith it is impossible to please him [God]....." Hebrews 11:6. It also states:

"For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." Hebrews 4:2

".....Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them......" Galatians 3:6-12

Finally, does the Scripture say:  "Examine yourselves whether you acknowledge Christ's atonement suffering and death?" No! Rather, the Scripture says:

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Corinthians 13:5

The President of the United States: A Sex Offender? - Why Obama's support of the abortion industry is the worst molestation of youth - thechristianmessage.org/2011/06/

Excerpt:

When we think outside the political correctness
box, it can be understood why the US White
House occupier, Barack Hussein Obama, is a big
time sex offender. Please continue to read this
entire message to aid you in understanding why.
<<<<<<<<<< Note: The following message (with added pics, captions, internal links and minor editing) was previously posted online by Pastor emeritus Nathan Bickel

Earlier this month the television networks and the Internet gave free time for a sex offender to address the nation’s school aged youth -- and, many schools encouraged their students to give their rapt attention to the Sex Offender-in-Chief.

A sex offender in our US culture is generally considered to be on who inappropriately touches (without consent – or, even, with, consent) a minor. Or, a sex offender is a person who inappropriately touches (at the very minimum) another adult, without the other person’s consent.
This “touching ‘aspect'” of a sex offender is considered to be the most minimum criminal violation. The greater (in degree) violation is to perpetrate sexual contact with a non consenting individual -- that, namely, being, sexual penetration.

Applying the definition of a sex offender to those who hide their (genocide) crimes against humanity by “serving” in political office: .......... >>>>>>>>>>

Upgraded Topical Message: The Eternal Relief Of The Righteous - Psalm 9:5-17

Christ's Second Coming will be a glorious
day for the disciple of Christ. However,
for the unbelieving soul, that return of
Christ will mark an eternal sentence of
judgment and punishment, spoken by
the Lord Himself, who will say: "Depart
from Me, ye cursed into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels."
Matthew 25:31-46

<<<<<<<< The culture of our day is increasingly changing its understanding of the definition of the “truth.” “’Scientific’ truth” is regarded paramount and all other reality is beneath this “cultural god.”

Some time ago, my wife and I viewed a history channel special on the “Exodus.” Without exception, all the miracles recorded in Scripture dealing with the Israelite exodus, were explained by some sort of “naturalistic” explanation. What, by and large, our culture fails to realize, is, that the God who created the universe, needs no natural phenomena to take place in order to make the type of changes in human history which He desires to make.

The same God who created the universe is the same Triune God who created human history. He is, by definition “supernatural.” And, what He does, He does, “supernaturally.”  His supernatural behavior and acts supersede the scientific. I prefer to reference “science,” not so much as truth, but reality. When it comes to the truth, Christians who believe in the Triune God look to Christ who claims to be the Truth. For us, the truth is a no-brainer. The Scriptures tell us that in Christ, “are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3 ........ >>>>>>>> thechristianmessage.org/2011/01/

Upgraded Topical Message: Fickle Human Nature

"The Christian Message" website has upgraded the following message with additional pics, captions and internal links:

Fickle Human Nature - thechristianmessage.org/2012/03/

Excerpt:

Sin is the ultimate reason for all human ills. Yet,
there are those in our culture who will not use
the word, "sin." Sin to them, is as scare as hen's
teeth. Hence, they will speak the culture's
euphemisms to hide from the root cause of why
human behavior is so fickle.
<<<<<< “Schizophrenia,” is the term given by behavioral “experts” (psychiatrists), to describe a person’s mental state. A person, who possesses schizophrenia, is a person who has a serious mental disorder. That particular “schizophrenic,” disorder by dictionary definition, is:

A common example of schizophrenia is someone who is supposedly “normal” one moment and then goes berserk, the next moment. Such was the recent incident which took place on a commercial airliner where the pilot of the aircraft all of a sudden went out of control, and had to be subdued by the flight’s passengers: ........ >>>>>>>

Upgraded message: Absolutes and Christ's often misunderstood words of “Judge not…”

"The Christian Message" website has upgraded the following message with additional pics, captions and internal links:

Absolutes and Christ's often misunderstood words of “Judge not…” - thechristianmessage.org/2011/02/

Excerpt:

Non-Christians generally eschew the reality
of absolutes. They will make exceptions,
though, for their pseudo science theory of
evolution
 which calls for umpteen millions
of years, minus Creator God, to produce all
what we observe, feel, smell and observe.

>>>>>>> One of the many distinguishing features which separate the Christian believer from the non-Christian, unbeliever, is, in the area of “absolutes.” Those who firmly believe Christ’s words as recorded in the Gospels, and the other Scriptures of the Hebrew Old and New Testament historical, revelation writings, are often viewed with derision and contempt. Such derogatory phrases such as “Bible thumping Christians” and “Gun totting Christians” are just a couple of denigrating phrases used by some who pride themselves into not believing and ordering their lives according to absolutes.

After all, why would one desire to restrict himself, believing and ordering his [or her] life after fixed principles found in an “old” book? Why would a person desire to limit his or her beliefs and experiences and repress human expression – whatever it may be? So goes the thinking of many who think and believe that living one’s life guided by absolutes is ludicrous and fanatical.

Those who often deride others for believing and ordering their lives after absolutes, contradict their own thinking and behaviors ........ <<<<<<<<<<<
