The Holocaust Remembered: Don't think it can't again happen

>>>>>>> ……. Apart from Scriptural references to hell – this [following] is why I believe in a literal hell
Sometime ago I came across the following website link – don’t ever doubt hell’s existence and its intended purpose:
“Child Sacrifice — How the Islamist death cult is destroying a generation of youth” — wnd.com
A pic of the post WWII Nazi Nuremberg Trials. Even the hardened Nazi war criminals had to cover their faces in shame as real live movie footage was displayed in court, chronicling their holocaust atrocities.
A pic of the post WWII Nazi Nuremberg Trials. Even the hardened Nazi war criminals had to cover their faces in shame as real live movie footage was displayed in court, chronicling their crimes against humanity holocaust atrocities.
It is my contention that our world would not make sense if there were no literal hell. If certain human beings of past, present and future exercised their free moral will to commit horrendous acts upon their fellow human beings and ultimately “get away” with it, then, how could one reasonably believe in goodness, love, heaven – and, especially, “justice?” Even the hardened Nazi war criminals (as they appeared at the Nuremberg Trials), had to cover their faces in shame as real live movie footage was displayed in court, chronicling their holocaust atrocities. They knew by (God-given) instinct (of human conscience) that what they perpetrated was utterly wrong and ghastly by any standards and that justice was crying out! Romans 2:11-16
If hell and its retributive justice for human sin do not exist, then what does actually exist? Are, what we all experience by sight, sound and touch mere figments of our collective imaginations? ……. <<<<<<<< - thechristianmessage.org/2011/11/

Upgraded topical message: Liars go to hell

"The Christian Message" has upgraded the following message with additional pics, captions and internal links:

Jesus spoke more of hell than He
did of heaven. Christ was sinless;
therefore He did not lie. Christ
spoke of a literal damnation of
 real suffering, torment and
punishment.
Liars go to hell

Excerpt:

>>>>>>> While being raised as an adolescent and teenager, I would sometimes hear the phrase: “Liars go to hell.” I have to say, that at that time, I didn’t know that reality was actually stated in the Bible. At the time, it made all the (moral) sense in the world to me. Telling the truth was always considered the healthy moral norm and lying through one’s teeth was the abnormal thing to do. I say “abnormal” as opposed to being honest. But, as a child, I would do my share of lying.

I won't ever deny that I lied as a child, as I believe every child lies. No one has to teach children to lie. It comes as a natural (part and parcel) result of our sinful nature territory, as all human beings are born sinners. Psalm 51:5 ; Romans 5:12

One specific lie, I recall, was deceiving my father....... <<<<<<< ......Continued..........

Near Death Experiences of hell

Near Death Experiences of hell:

Note not only the (above) video, but also the written script testimony of 5 people who experienced a glimpse of the hereafter hell - (scroll down, once you've accessed the link):  "To Hell and Back" - By Dr. Maurice Rawlings - freecdtracts.com/

Also: Obituary - Rawlings, Maurice - Served As Physician To President Eisenhower And Joint Chiefs Of Staff - chattanoogan.com/2010/1/6/

People who say that they prefer to go to hell
because that's where their friends will be, have
no idea. Hell is not only a place but a continual
forever state of torment, suffering and regret;
devoid of all that is good, holy and perfect.

Upgraded topical message: Pontius Pilate and Political Correctness

A scene from a movie. Pontius Pilate is washing
his hands as a ceremonial gesture. He gave in to
the rabid crowd who called for Christ's
crucifiction. Little did Pontius Pilate know that
the very blood that Christ would shed, was that
all cleansing holy blood that was offered for the
sins of the whole world. That blood would do him
no good as he was steeped in unbelief.

>>>>>>> Note the Scriptural Narrative: "Christ before Pontius Pilate:" Matthew 27:1,2 ; Matthew 27:11;12;13;14 ; Mark 15:1-5 ; Luke 23:1-6 ; John 18:12-28

As related in the Gospel Scriptures of Jesus Christ before the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate’s words and actions, lead us to believe that he was very reluctant to sentence Christ to death. Scripture indicates that he did all that he could to avoid and remove this Jewish political ("hot potato") situation from his presence and jurisdiction. His effort to ship off Jesus to King Herod and to present the vile criminal, Barabbas, in Christ's stead, fell flat. Pontius Pilate must have viewed himself to be on "the hot seat," having been "forced" by the clamoring Jewish crowd, to make a life and death decision, - even though his wife warned him to steer clear of Jesus, altogether........ <<<<<<< - thechristianmessage.org/2012/03/

Topical Message Upgrade: You are either righteous or ungodly

In the Gospel of John 10:1f Christ speaks of
Himself as the True Shepherd and also as the gate
[door]: "I am the Door. If anyone enters by Me,
he will be saved, and will go in and out and find
pasture." Gospel of John 10:9

Excerpt:

>>>>>> ....... Friend, the Bible makes it clear that head knowledge will not save; nor faith in formula; nor faithful church attendance; nor doing works of mercy to one's neighbor. Simple trusting faith in Christ, is what saves your wretched priceless soul. Ephesians 2:8;9

A Poem:

There's a saying often heard -- tis this; "There's many ways to Heaven, and God approves them all." That is not true my precious friends; that's just not true at all.

For those who talk in such a way I take my pen in hand, and hope this picture that I paint will help them understand.

I seem to see an angel stand beside a golden gate. Beyond the gate is Paradise, where heavenly glories wait. Stretched through the Heavens wait a throng who fain would enter there; the angel sentry they must pass -- He questions them with care:

"Do you know the password?" he inquires, of a man of stately mien. "Presbyterian," he proclaims, "My people all have been!" The angel bends on the stately soul, a searching look - yet kind, then turns the leaves of his golden book; but the word he cannot find. "I'm sorry," he says, but it is not here, friend, kindly step aside, As soon as you think of the proper words the gate will open wide."

A friendly look the next soul has He eagerly draws near. "With Methodists I meet," he says, "I'm sure you know us here." The angel loveth the friendly soul by his face we can plainly see, yet he stops for a look at his golden book, "The name is not here," said he. "Stand here by the Presbyterian," He said with a pitying smile. "You'll surely remember the proper words when you have thought awhile."

The next soul carries a book of prayer,....... <<<<<<< ........Continued.........

Updated topical message: What did Senator Kennedy have in common with President Obama and the late Abortionist, George Tiller?

"The Christian Message" website has upgraded the following topical message with additional pics, captions and internal links:

Pic of the late Senator Ted Kennedy; perhaps one of the most
 infamous of US politicians. He
portrayed himself as a respectable
Catholic
Christian; but was a vile person. His highly regarded
and favored politics by liberals and leftists were marked  with
 not only a pummeling
abuse of politics, but massive support
for abortion genocide.

>>>>>> It is often understood that “hate” is a detestable attitude / emotion that manifests itself in human [hate] speech. When people hear hate speech they readily label someone a “hatemonger.” The common universal school of thought is to qualify a hatemonger by what he says – not by what he does.

A hatemonger can also be a person who does not voice hate speech:

A hatemonger can also be a person who does not voice hate speech but whose lifestyle actions clearly identify him or her as a person who promulgates the destructive forces of hate. One does not have to look far (back) into history to identify hate mongers. Hitler readily comes to mind. Former Communist leaders such as Lenin, Stalin and Mao, vented their hate by murdering millions upon millions of their own peoples. Pol Pot, Idi Amin were more modern hate mongers, who left a trail of blood as evidence of their bigotry of hate against those who stood in opposition to their political paths....... <<<<<<<

Website upgrade: Part 2: How does the false teaching of universal objective justification molest Christians’ faith?

The Christian Message website has upgraded the following message with caption additions and internal links:

Part 2: How does the false teaching of universal objective justification molest Christians’ faith? - www.thechristianmessage.org/2012/09/

Excerpt:

Universalists generally do not give God the Holy
Spirit, credit for dispensing God's Mercy within
an individual soul. It pains them to admit Luther's
clear Biblical teaching that the Holy Spirit brings
a person to faith in Christ; and that the same
Holy Spirit of God imparts to that very soul the
"blessings of redemption." Please note John 3:1-21
in context, along with 1 Corinthians 6:11.
>>>>>>> ........ First of allthe Universalist teaching of “objective justification” presents a false security. No matter what the behavior of the person; all is [supposedly] forgiven. Why [according to them]? Because all has been forgiven. Why has all been forgiven? Because Christ suffered and died and rose from the dead for the purpose of bringing forgiveness to all human [souls] beings. And, the Universalists think they have it all figured out how this forgiveness to everyone, is effected.  Somehow they overlook what the blessed Christian Reformer, Martin Luther, stated in his explanation of the words of the Third Article of the Apostles’ Creed:

“……..In which Christian Church He [the Holy Spirit] daily and richly forgives sins to me and all believers…….”

Remember Jesus encounter with Nicodemus in John 1:1-21 – in context? Being “born from above” just doesn’t entail Christian Conversion; it entails what comprises that conversion – “the forgiveness of sins!”  And, what did Martin Luther say about “the forgiveness of sins?” He said:

“Where there is the forgiveness of sins; there is life and salvation.”

By being born from above by God, the Holy Spirit’s initiating activity; brings with that, the forgiveness of sins. Hence, genuine spiritual “life” is conveyed – the “salvation” of one’s soul; and heaven to come. [Titus 3:5] I quote from Luther’s Catechism [CPH – 1943]:

163. What is the work of the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost sanctifies me, that is, He makes me holy, by bringing me to faith in Christ and by imparting to me the blessings of redemption (Sanctification in the wider sense includes everything that the Holy Ghost does in me.)

419 – But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

Universal objective justification’s false sense of spiritual security is fostered at a young age......... <<<<<<<<<

Topical Message upgrade: Part 1: The false teaching which molests the faith of Christians

"The Christian Message" has upgraded the following topical message with additional captions and internal links:

Part 1: The false teaching which molests the faith of Christians - thechristianmessage.org/2012/09/

Excerpt:

>>>>>> ........ How is this this false Universalism teaching disseminated?

Elementary age school children are very
impressionable.  Most of them learn very quickly.
They are the young and innocent targets of the
Universalism's teaching which minimizes and / or
ignores the importance of teaching God's Law as
both a curb and rule.
First of all, it is disseminated from youth up. Christian elementary (parochial) schools seed this teaching from pre-school on. Children are continually reminded that Jesus loves them no matter what they do; no matter how bad they've been. Coupled with this [eternal security type of "sovereign immunity" environment] there is little if no teaching about sorrow over personal sin; repentance over it or faith and belief. The central teaching always returns to the forgiveness aspect; without any personal responsibility taught and laid upon the child. If faith is even mentioned, it is pushed into the background as it isn't something of necessity or something to be cherished. This web author and emeritus pastor has documented such at his [own] grandson's school. This parochial school is a fine Christian school and much better alternative than a public school; but, the central teaching of the Christian Faith is diminished as Luther modeled it be taught, - grace through faith; and that we are justified (before God) by faith alone:

Topical message upgrade: “How to” (step by step) formula driven, prescription Christianity

Some Christian persuasions have a
rigid "step by step" mentality. Often
their frame of reference is
"anthropocentric" [man orientated]
rather than "theocentric" [God
orientated"].
"The Christian Message" has upgraded the following topical message with additional pics, captions, internal links and minor editing:

“How to” (step by step) formula driven, prescription Christianity - thechristianmessage.org/2011/03/

Excerpt:

>>>>>> I remember a conversation with a well meaning sincere Christian, who attempted to tell my wife and me, the correct formula of prayer. His line of [faulty] reasoning was [paraphrase]: “You must be (utterly) specific in all of your prayers; otherwise the Lord will not hear you and answer your prayers.”

I don’t remember if this person ever actually heard [listened to] what my wife and I attempted to say, in response. Most often, “A person convinced against his own will, is of the same opinion, still.” We essentially conveyed to this dear Christian Brother that our prayers don’t necessarily have to be verbally spoken in specific detail. Here's what the one hymn lyric beautifully states:

Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire, unuttered or exprest, the motion of a hidden fire that trembles in the breast.

Prayer is the burden of a sigh, the falling of a tear, the ...... <<<<<<<< - Continued..........
